Christmas dessert: Rosé and Panettone Pairing
Christmas is the time of giving and sharing, a time of celebration with the loved ones.
In Italy families gather on Christmas day to share a special meal: the Christmas lunch.
Many delicous dishes are served, but no Christmas lunch is concluded without a slice of Panettone and a glass of Sparkling Wine. Because it would not be Christmas without Panettone and a good Spumante.
Rosé and Panettone Pairing
Panettone is the dessert of festivities, a protagonist of the Italian Christmas tradition.
This sweet yeast dough, soft and spongy requires the matching with a sweet and fresh Sparkling Wine as the Rosé Dolce, which with its fine and persistent perlage
cleanse the palate, cutting through the greasy aftertaste of butter.
Made exclusively from Moscato Rosa grapes, this Rosé wine offers an aromatic and fruity bouquet that balances the rich taste of Panettone.
Rosé Dolce pairs nicely also with desserts such as apple pie, tarts and dry pastries.
Serving suggestions
This Sparkling should be served at 6-7° C, uncorked at the last minute, just before drinking it.
For serving we suggest a tulip wine glass.
